Assessing family planning decision making among pregnant women statistical techniques for family planning measures
For nearly five decades, family planning has been the cornerstone of a worldwide strategy to slow down population growth. But the uptake of family planning does not match the amount of funds and programs directed at family planning usage. This study focused on assessing family planning decision among pregnant women in the Kwabre East District. The study design was cross-sectional. The sample size was 200 females with ages between 19-49 years and questionnaires were used to interview them. The data collected were entered and analysed using Excel spreadsheet and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (S.P.S.S.) version 16. The results of the study showed that there was a low patronage of family planning service provided by the various outlets constituting 80%. Seventy seven percent indicated that their spouse always disapproved the used of family planning. The study also indicated that 81% of the respondents did not have the right to go for family planning service. The study showed that 58% of the respondents were of the view that, they were not ready to use family planning after childbirth. It is therefore recommended that, tackling family planning issues from socio economic pe

Men's Involvement in Family Planning statistical techniques for family planning measures
This study examines the level of knowledge, attitude and practice of family planning among men. The study revealed that men have relatively considerable knowledge and encouraging positive attitude towards female family planning methods than male family planning methods. Female family planning methods were the most commonly used methods than male family planning methods. The gap between knowledge and practice of male family planning methods was very wide. moreover, future prevalence and practice of male methods seemed to be low. As Men’s educational level and income increases, their participation of using family planning methods also increases. Men having some kind of job practiced male methods higher than those without job. The study implies that higher level of education, access to job opportunities and income play a great role in increasing men’s participation in family planning.

The Design and Statistical Analysis of Animal Experiments statistical techniques for family planning measures
Written for animal researchers, this book provides a comprehensive guide to the design and statistical analysis of animal experiments. It has long been recognised that the proper implementation of these techniques helps reduce the number of animals needed. By using real-life examples to make them more accessible, this book explains the statistical tools employed by practitioners. A wide range of design types are considered, including block, factorial, nested, cross-over, dose-escalation and repeated measures and techniques are introduced to analyse the experimental data generated. Each analysis technique is described in non-mathematical terms, helping readers without a statistical background to understand key techniques such as t-tests, ANOVA, repeated measures, analysis of covariance, multiple comparison tests, non-parametric and survival analysis. This is also the first text to describe technical aspects of InVivoStat, a powerful open-source software package developed by the authors to enable animal researchers to analyse their data and obtain informative results.

Female Education and Family Planning statistical techniques for family planning measures
Since the International Conference on Population and Development in 1994, family planning has been prioritized in strategic plan in Cambodia. Though the contraceptive prevalence rate has increased for the last several years, it is still the lowest among Sub-Mekong Region countries. The significance of this book, therefore, aims to discuss two important dimensions of KAP (1) the educational background of women and knowledge of contraceptives and (2) the knowledge of contraceptive and its practice. The analysis shows that the female education is correlated with knowledge of family planning. However, the knowledge of family planning is less likely to be correlated with the practice. The knowledge of family planning would not be the only factor to encourage the practices. This book should help shed some light on the family planning perspective that female education contributes to the development of women''s autonomy in any situation, for example, knowledge of family planning and life skills. Lots of macro level studies supported that educated women have better knowledge, skill and social status. Therefore, female education is a factor to be considered in family planning policies.
